I have interviewed some fabulous people recently and even though I might appear cool, calm and collected, the reality is far from it. A few months ago after spotting Tobias Till’s charming set of London A-Z lino prints in an exhibition next to the Royal Albert Hall, I immediately emailed asking if he would consider creating a cover for Diplomat.

I invited Tobias to the Diplomat of the Year Awards last month and we chatted about ideas for the June Aerospace cover. Brimming with ideas and excitement I had no doubt he would produce something wonderful. His London scene with the Red Arrows took roughly three weeks to make. It’s fun, elegant and bold.

When I get excited about an artist, I want EVERYONE to know.
